• Final Fantasy XIV PC: Beta sign-ups Open

Square Enix is moving full-steam ahead with next MMO, Final Fantasy XIV although we won't be seeing it until early next year.

 

And you can fill out an application for the FFXIV Beta recruitment program on the game's homepage on  December 16. While the current application phase is only for the PC version, news about the PS3 beta "will be released at a later date." And, as usual, you have to be 18 years or older to apply.

The game is set for a 2010 release on both the PS3 and PC. Kind of surprising considering it was just announced this year. Either Square Enix got a lot of work done before the announcement, or they're really cranking this one out.
